Brandon Burton
As the Technical Education Manager for Restoration Sciences Academy, Brandon is an approved IICRC instructor in the categories of Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Water Damage Restoration (WRT). He has trained more than 4,000 water damage restoration professionals in the principles of drying. He is also a published author in the field. He has served as a Chapter Chair and editor for the ANSI/IICRC S500 standard committee and is a past member of the RIA (ASCR) Restoration council. Brandon has served the cleaning and restoration industry since 1995.
He is an accomplished and awarded speaker with Toastmasters International.

Richard Driscoll
Dick is co-owner and General Manager of Mayhem & Mishaps Inc. Mayhem & Mishaps was one of the largest restoration companies in South Carolina. Because of his experience and expertise, the demands for his time surpassed his ability to run a restoration company, be an instructor, and perform consulting and expert witness work. Mayhem & Mishaps, Inc., was closed as a restoration company in the summer of 2005, and now remains only as the vehicle for Mr. Driscoll's instruction, consulting and expert witness business. Dick has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson College of Technology, an MBA from the University of Dayton and is currently working on his Doctorate. He is an IICRC Certified Master Cleaner, Master Restorer and an active member of the Mid-South Professional Cleaning Assoc. Dick has published articles in major industry magazines and presented papers on the subjects of clean up and decontamination of: sewer back flows and crime/trauma scenes. He is an IICRC approved instructor for the 3-day Water Damage Restoration School.

Kevin Fisher
Kevin Fisher is the Education Program Manager for the Restoration Sciences Academy (RSA). Kevin is an approved IICRC instructor in the categories of Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and is the co-author of The New Guide to Restorative Drying and many other industry publications. He has been actively involved in educating restoration professionals since 1999. Kevin is a certified Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer and a Water Loss Specialist. He holds a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee Technological University, and spent 9 years teaching science at the secondary and college level before joining the restoration industry.

Gary Loiben
Gary has spent 30 years in the cleaning and restoration industry as a business owner, consultant, trainer and executive. During his tenure, Gary has trained thousands of restoration and cleaning professionals in the principles of fire, odor and water damage restoration. Gary holds several designations and certifications related to restoration, to include AMRT, MR, CMRT and CIE. In addition to his technical background, Gary has helped more than 100 small businesses grow from initial startup. He has owned, managed or consulted with businesses that range from startup to more than $100 mm in annual sales. He is a graduate of Dale Carnegie Human Relations and Public Speaking, and past assistant instructor for this prestigious program. Gary is currently a Technical Training Instructor for RSA.

David Oakes
David Oakes has worked in the field of cleaning and restoration since 1973. He currently owns and operates a full service cleaning and restoration firm, which provides fire and water damage restoration services. David has worked on both commercial and residential restorative drying jobs in all capacities. He also does consulting for both insurance companies and restoration contractors. David is admitted as an expert witness in State and Federal Court. David is an IICRC Certified Senior Carpet Inspector, Master Cleaning Technician, Master Restoration Technician and is a Certified Restorer (CR) and Certified Mechanical Hygienist (CMH) by the RIA. As an IICRC approved Instructor he teaches the RSA Three-Day Water Damage Restoration course (WRT), Applied Structural Drying 201 (ASD), Advanced Restorative Drying 301, Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT), Odor Control Technician (OCT), and Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (SRT).

Rick Ruch
Rick Ruch has been in the cleaning and restoration industry since 1982. He began his career with a large restoration firm in Denver Colorado and was a previous owner of Advanced Cleaning and Restoration Specialist for twelve years. Rick is a past President of the PCUCA and served on their board of directors for ten years. Rick has been an IICRC approved WRT instructor for RSA since 1997, and is currently a certified master restorer, master textile cleaner, and senior carpet inspector.

Bill Weigand
Bill Weigand has been in the cleaning and restoration industry since 1980. Bill joined Unsmoke in 1988, when he was hired as General Manager of its service company. In 1992 Bill was promoted to General Manager of Training and Technical Support for Unsmoke Systems. Bill has had the opportunity to put his restoration knowledge to work on-site disaster restoration projects throughout North America and the Caribbean. He has help to develop many odor control products and techniques which have become industry standards. Bill is an instructor for the Restoration Industry Association’s Certified Restoration Course as well as several courses for the IICRC. He has trained several thousand students for the IICRC. Bill holds multiple designations with the IICRC as well as the Restoration Industry Association and Indoor Air Quality Association.

Darren Hudema
Darren has been in the restoration and cleaning industry since 1989. He was in sales for cleaning and restoration supplies, a technician and project manager, before opening his own business in Kelowna, British Columbia in Canada, he managed a staff of 18 people and processed many claims in both fire and water damage. Over the past 21 years he has had the opportunity to work on hundreds of fire and water damage jobs which also including trauma cleanup. His work ranged from residential to commercial buildings including losses after Hurricane Ike. He is also an independent consult for insurance companies on large commercial and residential water damage losses. He has his WLS designation from the ASCR and is also a Certified IICRC Master Textile Cleaner, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, and Master Water Restorer. As an approved IICRC instructor for Dri-Eaz Products INC, he teaches the DriZone Applied Structural Drying (ASD) 4 day class; the IICRC 3-Day Complete Technical Water Damage Restoration class; and the Dri-Eaz 1-Day Advanced Restorative Drying seminar. He has trained more than 4,500 water damage restoration professionals in the principles of drying. He has written articles which have been published in the Cleaning and Restoration and Cleanfax magazines.
