Carpet Cleaning Technician The Carpet Cleaning Technician course teaches the fundamentals of carpet cleaning. Topics include fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. This course will also introduce the technician to the 5 methods commonly used in carpet cleaning. Length: 2 Days, Certification: IICRC
Certified Restoration Technician The Certified Restoration Technician (CRT) course, established by the Restoration Industry Association, is a comprehensive entry-level training course for those new to or reentering the restoration field. The course covers basic fire, water and smoke damage restoration skills. Attendees will gain new confidence in water restoration and structural drying, learn about effective smoke odor removal techniques, and understand surface preparation and finishing, duct cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning contents such wood furniture, documents, books, and more. Approximately half of the course includes hands-on training. Certification: RIA Certified Restoration Technician.
Fire and Smoke Restoration The Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician course covers smoke odor removal, structure cleaning, surface preparation and finishing, and contents cleaning, including wood furniture, documents, books, and electronics. Certification: IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician. Length: 2 days, Certification: IICRC
Microbial Remediation 210 Comprehensive introduction to mold and sewage remediation, incorporating hands-on training byan IICRC-certified Master Restorer. Acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to managea project involving mold and sewage remediation. Length: 4 days, Certification: RSA
Odor Control Learn about odor sources, detection processes, equipment, chemical options and applications. The student will learn the proper odor removal and deodorization techniques for mitigating urine contamination, combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oil spills as well as biohazards. Certification: IICRC Odor Control Technician. Length: 1 day, Certification: IICRC
Restorative Drying 101 (WRT) As the essential introduction to water damage restoration, the Water Restoration Technician course covers water restoration basics and is an excellent introduction for new technicians and a thorough review for experienced technicians. Includes an all-new 80-page reference manual. Certification: IICRC Water Restoration Technician. Length: 3 days, Certification: IICRC
Restorative Drying 101/201 Combined Course (WRT/ASD) Combines the complete Water Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying courses into a single 5-day program. For many, combining the WRT and the ASD means less time away from work and a significant reduction of travel expense. The Combined Course a great way to bring new staff fully up to speed or to provide a comprehensive review of the principles of restoration science and technique. The course includes all the information and learning experiences provided by the separate courses. Successful attendees receive both WRT and ASD certifications. Length: 5 days, Certification: IICRC
Restorative Drying 201 (ASD) Provides in-depth study of the science of drying with the industry’s top instructors. This four-day course includes ample hands-on experience and copy of the recently expanded and updated RD201 reference manual. Approximately half of this four-day course is hands-on practice and application. Attendees have access to special resources and free access to a diverse collection of training, marketing and business support tools. Certification: IICRC Applied Structural Drying Technician. Prerequisite: WRT. Length: 4 days, Certification: IICRC
Restorative Drying 301 This seminar takes a comprehensive look at advanced structural drying concepts and explores the most recent developments in drying technology and processes. Includes a free copy of the New Guide to Restorative Drying. Length: 1 day, Certification: IICRC
