These are images from the construction of the test floor and a drying test that was performed.

The floor under construction.  Each type of wood had three attachment methods:
  • Nailed directly to plywood subfloor
  • Nailed over 15# tar paper to plywood subfloor
  • Glued directly to plywood subfloor




As the floor was laid, we didn't measure each board to length, we simply trimmed the edge when we were finished!





This is one of the drying tests we performed before flooding.  Consistent drying conditions are critical to the test.
