  Bill Weigand

Bill Weigand has been in the cleaning and restoration industry since 1980. Bill joined Unsmoke in 1988, when he was hired as General Manager of its service company. In 1992 Bill was promoted to General Manager of Training and Technical Support for Unsmoke Systems. Bill has had the opportunity to put his restoration knowledge to work on-site disaster restoration projects throughout North America and the Caribbean. He has help to develop many odor control products and techniques which have become industry standards. Bill is an instructor for the Restoration Industry Association’s Certified Restoration Course as well as several courses for the IICRC. He has trained several thousand students for the IICRC. Bill holds multiple designations with the IICRC as well as the Restoration Industry Association and Indoor Air Quality Association.

  Brendan Kimmel

Brendan Kimmel managed a full service cleaning and disaster restoration firm for 6 years in the greater Seattle area. He joined the RSA in 2008, managing the RSA Claude Blackburn Education Center in Burlington, WA. Brendan has spoken at industry conventions, conducted on-site training for private firms and has been actively involved with industry associations such as the CCINW. He serves as the primary technical and project support specialist for the RSA, assisting alumni and other professional restorers with a wide variety of drying challenges. Brendan is an IICRC certified Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, Applied Microbial Remediation Technician and Master Textile Cleaner. He presently serves as a resident instructor for the RSA Restorative Drying 201 program.

  Brandon Burton

As Technical Director for Legend Brands, Brandon works to support rapidly developing technology and industry practices to promote the restoration industry’s continued growth and improvement.  Brandon is an approved IICRC instructor in the categories of Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Water Damage Restoration (WRT). He has trained more than 4,000 water damage restoration professionals in the principles of drying. He is also a published author in the field. He has served as a Chapter Chair and editor for the ANSI/IICRC S500 standard committee and is a past member of the RIA (ASCR) Restoration council. Brandon has served the cleaning and restoration industry since 1995. 

He is an accomplished and awarded speaker with Toastmasters International.

  Bob Lintzenich

Bob has been active in the cleaning and restoration industry since 1999. His work has focused on the development and delivery of training resources and researching many technical aspects of the restoration industry, beginning with the mold issues of 2001. He is an approved IICRC instructor in the category of Water Damage Restoration (WRT). His certifications include the IICRC-certified Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, and Master Textile Cleaner. Bob is currently a Technical Training Instructor for Restoration Sciences Academy (RSA).

  Sean Burgess

Sean is an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT) with extensive experience in both the claims adjusting and restoration service provider fields. With more than a decade of adjusting experience from both the field and as a trainer, Sean understands the intricacies of the insurance market. Balance with real world experience as an estimator in the restoration industry, his perspective is highly unique and invaluable. He has been commended on several occasions for his command of the technical aspects of effective project estimating, however is also regarded as a highly effective trainer, with a gift for translating what he teaches into practical, real world application.

  Darren Hudema

Darren has been in the restoration and cleaning industry since 1989. He was in sales for cleaning and restoration supplies, a technician and project manager, before opening his own business in Kelowna, British Columbia in Canada, he managed a staff of 18 people and processed many claims in both fire and water damage. Over the past 21 years he has had the opportunity to work on hundreds of fire and water damage jobs which also including trauma cleanup. His work ranged from residential to commercial buildings including losses after Hurricane Ike. He is also an independent consult for insurance companies on large commercial and residential water damage losses. He has his WLS designation from the ASCR and is also a Certified IICRC Master Textile Cleaner, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, and Master Water Restorer. As an approved IICRC instructor for Dri-Eaz Products INC, he teaches the DriZone Applied Structural Drying (ASD) 4 day class; the IICRC 3-Day Complete Technical Water Damage Restoration class; and the Dri-Eaz 1-Day Advanced Restorative Drying seminar. He has trained more than 4,500 water damage restoration professionals in the principles of drying. He has written articles which have been published in the Cleaning and Restoration and Cleanfax magazines.

  David Oakes

David Oakes has worked in the field of cleaning and restoration since 1973. He owned and operated a full-service cleaning and restoration firm for 42 years which provided fire and water damage restoration services. David has worked on both commercial and residential restorative drying jobs in all capacities. He also does consulting for both insurance companies and restoration contractors. David is admitted as an expert witness in State and Federal Court. David is an IICRC Certified Senior Carpet Inspector, Master Cleaning Technician, Master Restoration Technician and is a Certified Restorer (CR) and Certified Mechanical Hygienist (CMH) by the RIA. As an IICRC approved Instructor he teaches the RSA 3-Day Restorative Drying 101 (WRT), Applied Structural Drying 201 (ASD), Advanced Restorative Drying 301, Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT), Odor Control Technician (OCT), and Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (SRT) courses.

  Gary Loiben

Gary has spent 30 years in the cleaning and restoration industry as a business owner, consultant, trainer and executive. During his tenure, Gary has trained thousands of restoration and cleaning professionals in the principles of fire, odor and water damage restoration. Gary holds several designations and certifications related to restoration, to include AMRT, MR, CMRT and CIE. In addition to his technical background, Gary has helped more than 100 small businesses grow from initial startup. He has owned, managed or consulted with businesses that range from startup to more than $100 mm in annual sales. He is a graduate of Dale Carnegie Human Relations and Public Speaking, and past assistant instructor for this prestigious program. Gary is currently a Technical Training Instructor for RSA.

  Kevin Fisher

Kevin Fisher is an approved IICRC instructor in the categories of Applied Structural Drying (ASD) and Water Damage Restoration (WRT) and is the co-author of The New Guide to Restorative Drying and many other industry publications.  He has been actively involved in educating restoration professionals  since 1999.  Kevin is a certified Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer and a Water Loss Specialist.  He holds a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Tennessee Technological University, and spent 9 years teaching science at the secondary and college level before joining the restoration industry.

  Lee Senter

Lee Senter owns and operates both a cleaning and restoration business in Toronto, Ontario. He has been in the cleaning and restoration business since 1979. Lee has been active in the field of green cleaning long before it became mainstream. Lee also has a passion for raising the bar of health and safety in the cleaning and restoration industry. He is the IICRC Health and Safety Chairperson. He is part of the IICRC S520 and S540 Standard Consensus Bodies. Along with owning his companies Lee performs a couple of hundred flooring and carpet inspections a year, writes specifications for carpet maintenance and teaches six different IICRC approved classes- CCT, CMT, UFT, HST, WRT and ASD.

  Randy Pierce

As an Approved IICRC Instructor, Randy Pierce as traveled the United States teaching textile cleaning courses for the past several years. He instructs classes on carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, trauma scene clean up and odor control as well as business marketing classes. In addition to teaching, Randy is an IICRC Certified Master Textile Cleaner, Master Water Restorer, Master Fire Restorer, and a owner/operator of a successful textile cleaning and restoration company for 19 years. Randy has a diversified business background working in the Air Force, Pepco, and apartment communities learning not just cleaning skills but management and Leadership skills. Randy has also been involved with Boy scouts as a scoutmaster and committee chair for the last 19 years. Randy's positive attitude combined with a motivating teaching style makes him one of the most requested instructors in the country. He is well known for teaching his students how to be ultra competitive in today's fast paced business environment through the use of advanced technical skills and innovative sales and marketing techniques.

  Richard Driscoll

Dick is a Professor at Webster University where he provides graduate and under graduate level lectures on Marketing, International Business Management and Business Metrics. As the co-owner and General Manager of Mayhem & Mishaps Inc., Dick operated one of the largest restoration companies in South Carolina. Demand for his experience and expertise led Dick to become a full time instructor, consultant and witness in the field of business and restoration. Dick has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson College of Technology, an MBA from the University of Dayton and is currently working on his Doctorate. He is an IICRC Certified Master Cleaner, Master Restorer and an active member of the Mid-South Professional Cleaning Assoc. Dick has published articles in major industry magazines and presented papers on the subjects of clean up and decontamination of sewer back flows and crime/trauma scenes. He has been consulted by state governments on legislation related to the cleaning and restoration industry. He is also an IICRC approved instructor for the 3-day Water Damage Restoration School.

  Rick Ruch

Rick Ruch has been in the cleaning and restoration industry since 1982. He began his career with a large restoration firm in Denver Colorado and was a previous owner of Advanced Cleaning and Restoration Specialist for twelve years. Rick is a past President of the PCUCA and served on their board of directors for ten years. Rick has been an IICRC approved WRT instructor for RSA since 1997, and is currently a certified master restorer, master textile cleaner, and senior carpet inspector.

  Bob Sessler

Bob has been in the industry over the last decade with a national restoration company and most recently as an IICRC WRT instructor. As Director of Franchise Operations, Bob worked with owners, their staff and the local office in Seattle consulting and supervising hundreds of water damage, mold, and related projects on a daily basis.

Bob also managed an industry distribution center for equipment and supplies for the franchise companies nationwide. Bob has conducted training classes and made presentations at annual conferences and regional meetings over the last 20 years. He has also conducted CE classes to the insurance industry and is an approved CE instructor for department of Labor and Industries in Washington State in water and mold restoration. Certifications include, IICRC – Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer and Applied Microbial Remediation.

  Scott Sumner

Scott Sumner has worked in the construction industry for many years. Most recently he managed a large full service restoration company in North Carolina. He has an extensive knowledge of construction systems and restoration techniques. Over the past few years he and his company has been involved in hundreds of large scale, fire, water and mold jobs.

His experience and background led him to become an instructor for RSA. Scott holds a BS degree from East Carolina University in Construction Management and a BS degree in Science Education with a concentration in Biology. Scott holds the following IICRC qualifications: Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke restorer, Applied Microbial Remediation and Journeyman textile cleaner. Scott teaches IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician and Odor Control Technician classes.

  Jessika James

Jessika is a second-generation residential and commercial cleaning and restoration technician with over 27 years of in-field experience. She is an approved IICRC Instructor for CCT, CCMT, UFT, OCT, FSRT, WRT, Trauma Scene 101, and Microbial Remediation, and she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the IICRC and is Chair of the CCMT and UFT committees.

She was recently awarded the prestigious IICRC “Favorite North American Instructor” trophy, and in 2016, Jessika was recognized by R&R Magazine as one of the top three women in the industry (http://bit.ly/2kPCPtU). In addition to her work with the Restoration Sciences Academy, Jessika also teaches a variety of courses with Legend Brands’ Cleaning Professionals Academy.
