AMRT
Prerequisite: (IICRC Certification in WRT) The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants

Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)
The Carpet Cleaning Technician course teaches the fundamentals of carpet cleaning. Topics include fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. This course will also introduce the technician to the 5 methods commonly used in carpet cleaning.

Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician
The Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician course teaches techniques and safety issues related to carpet repair and re-installation, carpet construction, inspection process prior to cleaning, tools of the trade, floor preparation, adhesives, carpet cushion installation, tackless strip and moldings, seaming, and proper stretching. This class also teaches various repairs that the carpet cleaner/restorer may come up against while dealing with an installed textile. This knowledge will enable the technician to recognize and avoid installation problems that may arise while performing carpet cleaning as well as how to correct many issues encountered.

Color Repair Technician
(Prerequisites: IICRC Certification in CCT or CCMT) The Color Repair Technician course addresses the history of color, color theory, natural and synthetic dyes, dye methods, types of dyes, types of fibers, carpet styles and dye procedures. Other topics covered include color related cleaning issues such as fading, color loss due to contamination or bleaching, and the use of cleaning agents that may affect or remove color from carpet.

Fire and Smoke Restoration 151 (SRT)
The Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician course covers smoke odor removal, structure cleaning, surface preparation and finishing, and contents cleaning, including wood furniture, documents, books, and electronics. Certification: IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician.

IICRC Trauma and Crime Scene
Trauma and Crime Scene Technician TCST course is designed to provide basic education, guidance, and understanding of the unique situations encountered when performing trauma and crime scene cleanup, regardless of surface, item, or location. The course will discuss the various procedures and precautions that should be taken when performing work at a trauma/crime scene and is based on the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup: 2017 The purpose is to teach the methodologies used by the technician, the worker, and other materially interested parties for inspecting and investigating human blood and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) contamination to establish hazard assessments, work plans, and procedures for cleaning and safe transportation of contaminated material. When coupled with additional on-the-job training and field experience, students should be able to safely perform trauma and crime scene cleanup.

Microbial Remediation 210
Comprehensive introduction to mold and sewage remediation, incorporating hands-on training by an IICRC-certified Master Restorer. Acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to manage mold and sewage remediation projects.

Restorative Drying 101 (WRT)
As the essential introduction to water damage restoration, the Water Restoration Technician course covers water restoration basics and is an excellent introduction for new technicians and a thorough review for experienced technicians. Includes an all-new 80-page reference manual. Certification: IICRC Water Restoration Technician.

Restorative Drying 101/201 Combined Course (WRT/ASD)
Combines the complete Water Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying courses into a single 5-day program. For many, combining the WRT and the ASD means less time away from work and a significant reduction of travel expense. The Combined Course a great way to bring new staff fully up to speed or to provide a comprehensive review of the principles of restoration science and technique. The course includes all the information and learning experiences provided by the separate courses. Successful attendees receive both WRT and ASD certifications.

Restorative Drying 201 (ASD)
Provides in-depth study of the science of drying with the industry’s top instructors. This four-day course includes ample hands-on experience and copy of the recently expanded and updated RD201 reference manual. Approximately half of this three-day + one optional bonus day course is hands-on practice and application. Attendees have access to special resources and free access to a diverse collection of training, marketing and business support tools. Certification: IICRC Applied Structural Drying Technician. Prerequisite: WRT.

Restorative Media Blasting – Hands on course
Come to this one day feature packed hands on course to learn media blasting from the professionals at Grand Northern Products! Gain experience with dry ice and baking soda blasting equipment. Learn how to protect your employees who are doing this work for you, how to market this service, and how to price your work. This is a growing field and applies to work you are already doing in the areas of fire and mold restoration. Use blasting as a springboard into new areas of work!

Trauma Scene Remediation 211
MR 211 is a comprehensive course covering trauma scene cleanup and decontamination. Attendees will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge required to properly evaluate, clean and decontaminate a site following a human trauma event.

Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning (UFT)
I.I.C.R.C. Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning Technician classes cover upholstery fiber categories, fiber identification and testing, manufacturing of the fiber & fabric, chemistry of cleaning, upholstery cleaning methods, protections, spotting and potential problems. A student will have a specific knowledge about fabric and fiber content, as well as furniture construction. This enables students to identify limitations and potential cleaning related problems, on a given piece of upholstery.

Xactimate Advanced Training Course
The Xactimate Advanced Training Course is designed for intermediate to advanced Xactimate users. Each class is designed to meet the business needs and learning objectives of its attendees. Attendees in this course should build on their knowledge of Sketch by learning to create more complex diagrams as well as estimating within Sketch, including advanced variables, keyboard shortcuts and other techniques to improve their skills. The course also focuses on a variety of estimating methods to increase overall efficiency, all while preparing attendees to challenge the Xactimate Level 3 user certification exams offered through Xactware PLUS

Xactimate Estimating 280
Xactimate training administered by Sean M. Burgess, an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT) with technical knowledge of the trade, industry knowledge, and estimating software. Learn not only the software but also how it relates to the actual restoration work being performed. Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools. Students will learn to efficiently set up, dimension, scope and deliver professional estimates through valuable hands-on training. This is for beginning to intermediate Xactimate level students. Students completing this program will be prepared to challenge the Xactimate Level 1 and 2 user certification exams offered through Xactware.

Xactimate Estimating 283
Acquire the knowledge and practical skills necessary to quickly create accurate estimates using a variety of Xactimate tools in one of the only estimating programs in the world that is taught during a live water loss. Students will estimate a project in real time as the work is completed. This three-day Intermediate estimating course is taught by Sean M. Burgess, an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT), who has experience working in both the insurance and restoration fields. Participants will learn how to efficiently set up, dimension, scope and deliver professional estimates through valuable hands-on training using real-world data while a flood is being responded to live in a training environment. This is for beginning to intermediate Xactimate level students who are or will be actively working in a restoration environment. Students completing this program will be prepared to challenge the Xactimate Level 1 and 2 user certification exams offered through Xactware.
