"HANDS ON" IICRC Trauma and Crime Scene Learn how to manage the unique situations encountered when performing trauma and crime scene cleanup, regardless of surface, item, or location, including procedures and precautions for working at a trauma/crime scene, based on the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard. Find out how to inspect and investigate human blood and other potentially infectious materials contamination to establish hazard assessments, work plans, and procedures for cleaning and safe transportation of contaminated material. Once your company’s health and safety programs are established and with additional on-the-job training and field experience, students should be able to safely perform this work. AMRT Prerequisite: (IICRC Certification in WRT)The Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) The Carpet Cleaning Technician course teaches the fundamentals of carpet cleaning. Topics include fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. This course will also introduce the technician to the 5 methods commonly used in carpet cleaning. Length: 2 Days, Certification: IICRC
Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician The Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician course teaches techniques and safety issues related to carpet repair and re-installation, carpet construction, inspection process prior to cleaning, tools of the trade, floor preparation, adhesives, carpet cushion installation, tackless strip and moldings, seaming, and proper stretching. This class also teaches various repairs that the carpet cleaner/restorer may come up against while dealing with an installed textile. This knowledge will enable the technician to recognize and avoid installation problems that may arise while performing carpet cleaning as well as how to correct many issues encountered. Color Repair Technician (Prerequisites: IICRC Certification in CCT or CCMT) The Color Repair Technician course addresses the history of color, color theory, natural and synthetic dyes, dye methods, types of dyes, types of fibers, carpet styles and dye procedures. Other topics covered include color related cleaning issues such as fading, color loss due to contamination or bleaching, and the use of cleaning agents that may affect or remove color from carpet. Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician The Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician course covers the basics of carpet construction, carpet cleaning methodologies, and safety procedures as they apply to commercial buildings. The course teaches techniques that prepare technicians to maintain commercial facilities. Technicians also learn how to provide a successful commercial carpet maintenance program involving preventative, interim, restorative and salvage cleaning services. Contents Processing New IICRC Certification Course for Contents Processing Technician (CPT)! Be one of the fist to participate in the Beta CPT course! PLEASE NOTE: It is required that ALL students participating in the Beta Testing CPT course must take the IICRC CPT Certification exam within 72 hours of course completion. If the student receives a passing score of 75% or above, IICRC CPT Certification will be issued. The class and exam results will be reviewed and analyzed by the IICRC and CPT Committee. The IICRC Contents Processing Technician (CPT) certification course is designed to provide an education for technicians in the practice of contents recovery and processing from loss events such as fire, water, mold, biohazard residues, and trauma scenes. Restorative Drying 101/201 Combined Course (WRT/ASD) Combines the complete Water Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying courses into a single 5-day program. For many, combining the WRT and the ASD means less time away from work and a significant reduction of travel expense. The Combined Course a great way to bring new staff fully up to speed or to provide a comprehensive review of the principles of restoration science and technique. Xactimate Advanced Training Course The Xactimate Advanced Training Course is designed for intermediate to advanced Xactimate users. Each class is designed to meet the business needs and learning objectives of its attendees. Attendees in this course should build on their knowledge of Sketch by learning to create more complex diagrams as well as estimating within Sketch, including advanced variables, keyboard shortcuts and other techniques to improve their skills. The course also focuses on a variety of estimating methods to increase overall efficiency, all while preparing attendees to challenge the Xactimate Level 3 user certification exams offered through Xactware PLUS Length: 2 days

Students will estimate a project in real time as the work is completed. This three-day Intermediate estimating course is taught by Sean M. Burgess, an Xactimate Certified Trainer (XCT), who has experience working in both the insurance and restoration fields. Participants will learn how to efficiently set up, dimension, scope and deliver professional estimates through valuable hands-on training using real-world data while a flood is being responded to live in a training environment.
